Sad iPod
« Jöel Robuchon | Main | blojsom, Firefox 2, and Microsummaries »On the airplane to Las Vegas, I turned on my iPod, and after many seconds of waiting for startup, the iPod displayed the sad iPod icon.
I had dropped it on the carpet before leaving, but didn't think anything of it. Off to the Apple store later to get it repaired. Thank goodness for the extended Applecare on the iPod.
Ugggggggggggggggggggggh.
Update: One person at the Apple store said the iPod is basically b0rk3d. And it turns out the Applecare had run out just a few months ago. There are of course non-Apple repair shops that'll take the iPod for around $150. "Why bother?" is the question I'm asking myself right now.
