ChronicleLite ... A blogger.com client in Java
« Buffy ... we hardly knew ye. | Main | Ummmmm ... livenudecats.com? »
So, Mark turns me onto ChronicleLite this AM. Java-based Blogger.com client == good. Not that I minded the Archipelago client for OSX, but this is plain and simple and has the functionality I need. And I don't have OSX at work. *sigh*
To get it to work with blojsom required one minor tweak since it's only built for posting to Blogger.com. HA! Nuts to that since blojsom supports the Blogger API via XML-RPC.
I just started the client and then exited right away. Then I edited the .ChronicleLite.config.xml file and changed the name to my blog and gave it the proper URL for posting via XML-RPC.
blojsom got the proper list of categories. The blojsom blogger API handler is also smart in that if you're using category meta-data (e.g. description), then that's what shows up in the category list in ChronicleLite. Ahhhh ... so sweet.
