Blojsom Weekly Round-Up

blojsom momentum is building. This past week the following has transpired:

  • Uncle Sam - Interest from "the Feds" on using blojsom.
  • Localization - Offer for Japanese localization of the admin UI and our site documentation and to administer a support list for Japanese users.
  • Administration Interface - Arguably not the prettiest interface, but it's workable. And in the next release it's going to be even more dynamic. However, I've now got professional UI folks helping out with the re-design. I'll post teaser shots as I can.
  • More sites powered by blojsom - Stay tuned.

Don't be afraid to join the bandwagon /images/emoticons/mozilla_wink.gif

Shameless self-promotion: TypeKey4J

Posted by david at 5:54 PM in blojsom ... all blojsom

TypeKey4J 1.0 Available

Continuing a fine tradition of starting with version 1.0 releases ... It's TypeKey4J boys and girls!

TypeKey4J handles TypeKey authentication in Java. Download. Javadocs.

You were also looking for a plugin for blojsom that uses TypeKey4J to do comment moderation? Download. That'll probably make it into blojsom 2.24.

Released under the BSD license.

If there's considerable interest in this from the <cartman>communitah</cartman> then I'll get this biznatch out on SourceForge under its own project. It's already in the net.sf.typekey4j package, but I didn't have the heart to register another SourceForge project. So ... for now ... it's a "spawn of blojsom" project. /images/emoticons/mozilla_laughing.gif

Time to notify Anil.

Oh, and thanks to the folks who develop the Bouncy Castle crypto lib. It doesn't suck and it's got a good license.
