Rolex spam

Damn y'all. Over the past few days it seems that the only spam I've gotten has been related to Rolex watches. Now, it's remotely appealing since I do have a penchant for the wrist flair, but ultimately these fools will fail. Why?
  1. I rock the Fossil. I've got over 30 of the suckers. You're simply barking up the wrong tree.
  2. I can afford to buy a Rolex. If I'm going to buy a Rolex watch, it's going to be the real deal. But, as I previously stated, the Rolex just isn't my cup of bling.
Thanks anyway.

Yours truly, David Czarnecki

Comment and Trackback moderation plugins for blojsom

The comment moderation and trackback moderation plugins (still working on the documentation) for blojsom allow you to moderate the comments and trackbacks that individuals post to your blog. In the initial versions, you can turn on comment and/or trackback moderation per blog. All you need after that is a little code in your template to only display the comments and/or trackbacks that have been been approved.

This functionality is complementary to the existing comment and trackback plugins which support throttling (i.e. the ability to limit posting every X minutes), disabling comments and/or trackbacks on individual entries altogether, and the ability to automatically disable comments and/or trackbacks after a certain number of days.

Hopefully you find this useful. That's 5 brand spanking new plugins for the next release of blojsom!

NEW YORK - Kid power! Democrat John Kerry is the winner, and the rest of the country should pay attention because the vote on Nickelodeon's Web site has correctly chosen the president of the United States in the past four elections.

blojsom included in MyJavaPack

blojsom is now bundled in the latest release of MyJavaPack. Check the software list.

You can choose from a few MySQL administration tools in MyJavaPack, but you won't need them for blojsom. No database required.

Who'd have thought you could get multi-user, multi-blog capability, plugins, themes, web-based administration, XML-RPC, and so much more in less than 3 MB?
