Music as we know it is dead OR Sixpence all the poorer
There is absolutely nothing happening in the music industry as evidenced by an article on CNN this morning declaring "Sixpence None The Richer breaks up". These were the one-hit wonders that brought you that Dawson's Creek-esque shrivvle, "Kiss Me" ("a No. 2 hit on the Billboard Hot 100"). Wow ... just wow.
